1,465 km across the Deccan
The Godavari rises in the hills near Nashik and runs east across India. It is the longest river in peninsular India, fed on the way by the Pranhita, the Indravati and many smaller rivers.
02Two branchesరెండు పాయలు
At Dowleswaram, the river splits
Just below Rajahmundry the Godavari divides. Each branch finds its own way to the Bay of Bengal.

03Konaseemaకోనసీమ
The corner of land between them
The land held between the two branches and the sea is Konaseema. Kona means corner, seema means land. River silt underfoot and water on every side make it coconut country, right down to the river islands, the lankas.
Our coconuts come from Ankampalem, a village near the Vasishta.

Our oils are extracted using traditional wooden presses at room temperature. No heat means no nutrient loss—just pure oil.
